Jacobi Psychiatry

Psychiatric care for adults under pressure

I provide thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care for adults in high‑stress roles and young adults navigating major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are capable, motivated, and outwardly functioning — yet internally feeling overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or stuck.

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from psychiatric support. My role is to help you better understand what’s happening, clarify next steps, and develop a treatment plan that actually fits your life.

Based in Westchester, New York. Telehealth available where appropriate.

Who I work with:

My practice is especially well suited for:

Adults in high‑stress or high‑responsibility roles

Professionals in demanding careers often carry chronic stress, pressure to perform, and limited space to slow down. Over time, this can show up as anxiety, low mood, irritability, sleep problems, or a sense of burnout — even when things appear “successful” on the outside.

I commonly work with professionals who are used to handling things on their own, but are noticing that their usual strategies are no longer enough.

Young adults navigating transition

Periods such as starting college, adjusting during college, or transitioning into post‑college life are common times for anxiety, depression, or even ADHD symptoms to emerge.

I help young adults make sense of these changes, regain stability, and build skills and confidence as they move into adulthood.

My approach:

I practice psychiatry with an emphasis on careful listening, collaboration, and individualized treatment. Appointments are unhurried, and treatment plans are tailored to your goals, values, and circumstances — not a one‑size‑fits‑all checklist.

When medication is part of treatment, I approach it thoughtfully and conservatively, integrating it with psychotherapy, lifestyle factors, and collaboration with other providers when helpful.

I maintain a limited caseload to ensure attentive, consistent care.

Services:

• Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis
• Medication management
• Treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHD
• Care coordination with therapists and other clinicians

Getting started:

Reaching out can feel difficult — especially if you’re used to managing on your own. It’s okay to ask questions before committing to care.
