Frequently asked questions
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently an out of network physician and although I do not accept insurance, I am happy to provide you with a detailed invoice (superbills) for all services rendered. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for out of network reimbursements depending on your insurance plan. I encourage you to reach out to your health insurance provider to learn of any potential reimbursement opportunities.
Do you offer in-person visits?
I offer mainly telepsychiatry services, meaning that appointments are conducted remotely through secure video conferencing. Research consistently demonstrates that telepsychiatry is as effective as in-person visits, while providing the added benefits of convenience and accessibility for our valued clients. You can conveniently attend appointments from the comfort of your own space, without the need for travel or additional time commitments. The pandemic has facilitated the growing use of telepsychiatry, however ever changing federal and state laws may require in person visits in the future, specifically for controlled substances. In-person appointments may be arranged if requested, based on scheduling availability.
What are your hours?
We understand the importance of accommodating busy schedules. Our practice offers flexible hours to cater to the needs of our working clientele. We provide appointments in the mornings before work, evenings after work, and even on weekends. Our goal is to ensure accessibility and convenience, allowing you to prioritize your mental health without compromising your professional commitments. Please don’t hesitate to email or call me to discuss scheduling.
